Mining Sites
Bushmans Tanks partnered with Osmoflo, an international water treatment company, to supply industrial tanks for the Ranger Uranium Mine in Kakadu National Park, operated by Energy Resources of Australia Ltd (ERA).
This open-cut mine has been producing uranium oxide since 1981. Over several months, Bushmans collaborated closely with design engineers to develop tanks tailored to the mine’s specific requirements.
The project included the manufacture of six large-capacity industrial tanks 46,400-litre T10500IND and one 3,200-litre TT650IND tank, all designed to meet the rigorous demands of the mining environment. Bushmans’ commitment to high-quality service and effective communication was instrumental in the successful completion of this project.
School Projects
A Sydney-based school aimed to enhance its sustainability by expanding rainwater harvesting capabilities. Facing space constraints, they required high-capacity storage tanks that could be installed in limited areas.
Bushmans addressed this challenge by designing and manufacturing two 22,500-litre heavy-duty tanks, utilising additional material to ensure structural integrity within the confined space.
These tanks effectively capture stormwater from large buildings for reuse throughout the school, providing a total storage capacity of 45,000 litres. The school’s administration expressed satisfaction with the solution, noting its contribution to their sustainability goals.
Fire Protection Installations
The Tenterfield Aerodrome, located near the NSW/QLD border, aimed to enhance its firefighting preparedness ahead of the bushfire season. Recognising the region’s high fire risk, the aerodrome needed a reliable and high-capacity water storage solution to support emergency operations.
Bushmans partnered with the Friends of Tenterfield Aerodrome Association Inc. (FOTA) to deliver a 210,000-litre Aqualine Steel Tank.
